Join Master Broommaker Janelle Higdon of Haydenville Broomworks to explore different styles of broommaking, the materials and tools used, and craft a mini whisk broom to take home.
A handcrafted broom, when properly cared for, will not shed and (in addition to being beautiful) lasts much longer than one purchased from a big box store.
We'll make a mini whisk broom, perfect for removing lint from clothes, dusting the hearth in front of your wood stove, or to remove crumbs from the table. Surprisingly durable, it’s also excellent for use outside.
We'll also make potscrubbers, which are as functional as they are aesthetically pleasing.
